31 January 1945:
Completed at Tokyo; assigned same date to Desron 11, Combined Fleet, for training. Ship's captain: Commander Nakao Kotaro  (prev. C.O. AKISHIMO).
Commander Nakao relieved by Commander Araki Masami  (prev. C.O. USHIO).
Saw antiaircraft action in air raid on Yokosuka.
Arrived in Kure, then training in the Inland Sea.
Assigned to Desdiv 41 (FUYUZUKI, SUZUTSUKI, NATSUZUKI), Escort Squadron 31, Combined Fleet.
Light damage: hit mine while leaving Kure; repaired at quayside.
Moored and camouflaged in Inland Sea; later surrendered in that condition.
5 October 1945:
Removed from Navy List. Later used as repatriation ship.
29 August 1947:
Turned over to China; renamed FEN YANG; scrapped 1962-63.
