10 October:

Assigned to Desdiv 43 (UME, TAKE, MOMO, MAKI), Escort Squadron 31, Combined Fleet.

25 October: Battle of Leyte Gulf

Escorted Admiral Ozawa's Northern Force in Battle off Cape Engano.

8-16 November:

Escorted ISE and HYUGA on transport mission from Kure to Manila, but diverted to Spratly Islands instead.

16-20 November:

Joined escort of Admiral Kurita's fleet from Brunei as far as Mako.

20 November:

Escort Squadron 31 reassigned to Fifth Fleet.

21 November:
Minor damage:
(cause unknown) at Mako.

8 December:

Arrived Manila, escorting convoy from Formosa.

9-13 December:

Escorted troop convoy TA No. 9 from Manila to Ormoc and back. Medium damage: in air attacks on 12 December due to strafing. Removed 214 survivors from YUZUKI, including Comdesdiv 30 (Captain Sawamura Seiji).

14 December 1944-8 January 1945:

Escorted convoys from Manila via Formosa to Moji; on 10 January to Kure for repairs.

22 January:
Departed Moji, escorting Convoy MOTA-33 towards Keelung; later detached at Shanghai.

5 February:

Escort Squadron 31 reassigned to Combined Fleet.

15 March-20 April:

Escort Squadron 31 reassigned to Second Fleet, then back to Combined Fleet.

August:
Surrendered at Kure at end of war.

5 October 1945:

Removed from Navy List. Later used as repatriation ship.

29 July 1947:

Turned over to Soviet Union.
