Initial Command Structure:
Assigned to 21st Torpedo Boat Division, 2nd Base Force, Third Fleet.

23-29 November 1941:
Steamed from Sasebo via Terashima to Takao.

6-8 December:
Departed Takao, then with Batan Island invasion force.

22-26 December:
With Lingayen invasion force, then to Takao.

29 December 1941-2 January 1942:
Escorted convoy from Takao to Camiguin Island.

4-8 January:
Escorted convoy from Camiguin to Davao.

9-12 January:
Departed Davao, then with Tarakan invasion force.

12-17 January:
Steamed from Tarakan to Davao and back, then patrol/escort duties.

27 January-9 February:
Escorted convoys from Tarakan to Camranh Bay.

18 February:
Departed Camranh, escorting convoy to Anambas Islands.

21-27 February:
Departed Anambas, then with Eastern Java invasion force.

7-17 March:
At Batavia for guardship duties.

10 March:
21st Torpedo Boat Division deactivated; reassigned to 24th Special Base Force, 2nd Southern Expeditionary Fleet, Southwest Area Fleet.

20-24 March:
Escorted shipping from Makassar to Ambon, then patrol/escort duties out of that base.

31 May-23 June:
Escorted shipping from Ambon via Davao to Manila.

27 June-5 July:
Escorted convoys from Manila to Takao and back.

8-13 July:
Escorted convoy from Manila to Singapore, then docked for repairs.

4-15 August:
Escorted shipping from Singapore to Ambon, then resumed patrol/escort duties.

20 January 1943:
Reassigned to 2nd China Expeditionary Fleet.

29 January-6 February:
Escorted TOMOZURU from Ambon to Surabaya.

8-16 February:
Escorted shipping from Surabaya via Manila to Hong Kong, then patrol/escort duties out of that port.

24-26 March:
Out of Hong Kong to support Kousha Bay landing force.

27 March-10 April:
Docked for repairs at Hong Kong.

11 April:
Departed Hong Kong, then Hong Kong-Formosa convoy escort duties.

10 June:
Arrived Amoy, then guardship duties.

20 June:
Departed Amoy, then Amoy-Formosa convoy escort duties.

3 August:
Arrived Hong Kong.

16 August:
Departed Hong Kong, then resumed Hong Kong-Formosa convoy escort duties.

4-9 September:
Docked for repairs at Hong Kong.

6 October:
Departed Hong Kong, then resumed Hong Kong-Formosa convoy escort duties.

27 December:
Minor damage: struck uncharted reef in Formosa Strait.

29 December 1943-8 January 1944:
Docked at Mako for repairs.

17-26 January:
Escorted shipping from Mako to Hong Kong.

5 February:
Minor damage: in air attack near Hong Kong.

7 February:
Arrived Hong Kong, then repairs.

10 February:
Departed Hong Kong, then resumed Hong Kong-Formosa convoy escort duties.

12 June:
Minor damage: in air attack near Takao; near-miss disable depth-finder. Then to Takao on 13 June.

16-20 June:
Escorted convoy from Takao to Hong Kong, then repairs through 24 June.

7 November:
Minor damage: struck mine near Seishu Island, north of Hong Kong.

7 November-22 December:
Docked at Hong Kong for repairs.

31 December 1944-8 January 1945:
Escorted convoys from Hong Kong to Yulin and back.

26 January:
Departed Hong Kong, then Shanghai-Amoy-Hong Kong convoy escort duties.

24 May:
Arrived Hong Kong, then remained idle at that base through end of war.

August 1945:
Surrendered at Hong Kong.

3 May 1947:
Removed from Navy List. Scrapped in 1948.
