Completed at Sasebo; assigned same date to Desron 11, Combined Fleet, for training. Ship's captain: Commander Kohama Satoru  (prev. C.O. HATSUSHIMO).
20 January 1945:
Assigned as flagship to 103rd Escort Squadron, First Escort Fleet, then training in the Inland Sea.
Departed Inland Sea, then engaged in local escort duties.
Escort Squadron 103 reassigned to Seventh Fleet.
Arrived in Kure from Sasebo, then in Inland Sea through end of war.
5 October 1945:
Removed from Navy List. Later used as repatriation ship.
28 August 1947:
Turned over to Soviet Union; renamed POSPESCHNY.
