In 1918, SEKINO MARU was completed as cargo ship for Toyo Kisen K. K (Oriental Steamship Co.), Tokyo. In Sep '44, she was bombed and sunk by American aircraft
off Lembeh Strait, North Sulawesi, Celebes Sea.
