YOSHIDA MARU No. 1 Class Transport

(YOSHIDA MARU No. 1, prewar)

This class consisted of YOSHIDA MARU No. 1, BOSTON, BUYO, CHOYO, CLYDE, ERIE, HAVRE, MILAN, ROZAN and YAYOI MARUs and others completed between 1918 and 1926. In 1941, YOSHIDA MARU No. 1 was requisitioned by the Imperial Army (IJA). She was torpedoed and sunk by American submarine in Apr ‘44. BOSTON MARU also was equisitioned by the IJA in '41 and sunk by American submarine in Nov ‘42.
