Yamabiko Maru Class Auxiliary Repair Ship

Commissioned in 1941, the YAMABIKO MARU was converted to a repair ship from a passenger steamer. Her main operating base was at Rabaul. The YAMABIKO MARU was torpedoed and sunk off the Bonins in January 1944.
