W-5 Class Minesweepers

The W-5 class of two units were slightly larger and 1 knot faster than the W-1's. In 1944, W-5's forward 4.7-inch gun and minesweeping gear were removed and she was rearmed with five Type 96 25-mm AA guns and 36 DCs.
