Urakami Maru Class Auxiliary Repair Ship

Completed in 1941, cargo ship URAKAMI MARU was converted to an auxiliary repair and salvage ship. Her main operating bases were at Truk, Carolines and Rabaul, New Britain. URAKAMI MARU was sunk at Palau by TF 58's aircraft in March 1944.
