TENYO MARU - Class Auxiliary storeship

This class consists of TENYO MARU (later TENYO MARU No. 2 GO), CHIYO and TAIYO MARUs, all completed in 1935 for Hayashikane Shoten K.K. All were requisitioned by the IJN, TENYO and CHIYO MARUS being registered as auxiliary stores ships, TAIYO MARU as a general requisitioned stores ship. All were lost between Jan and May ’44 from various causes.
