Teiyo Maru Class Auxiliary Oiler

TEIYO MARU was completed in 1931. In Nov '41, she was requisitioned by the IJN and converted to an auxiliary fleet oiler. TEIYO MARU was torpedoed and sunk in Aug '44 while enroute from Japan to Singapore as part of the ill-fated convoy HI-71.
