Tategami Class Fleet Salvage and Repair Tug

The three TATEGAMI Class Fleet Salvage and Repair Tugs (Kyunansen Ken Eisen) were equipped with two 1,000-lb salvage pumps, air compressors, derricks, machine tools and a workshop. OJIMA was sunk at Truk by marine casualty in Oct '43 and NAGAURA was sunk off Kavieng by American destroyers in Feb '44.
