TAKASAGO MARU was completed as a passenger-cargo ship for Osaka Shosen (OSK Line) in 1937. Requisitioned by the IJN in 1941, she was converted to a hospital ship. She survived the war and was used as a transport for the Allied Repatration Service from 1945 to 1947. She was sold for scrap in 1956.
