Numbered T.152. Assigned to the Kure Guard Office.

29 February:
Mukojima. Laid down Hitachi Zosen K. K. as Hull No. 22, a 950-ton T. 101-class landing ship tank.

24 March 1944:
Launched.

25 May 1944.
Completed. Assigned to the Combined Fleet. Rerated a 2nd Class Yusokan. Lt. Takeshita Yoshimasa is the Commanding Officer.

26 May 1944:
Departs Omomichi. Arrives at Kure.

18 June 1944:
Departs Kure.

21 June 1944:
Arrives at Yokosuka.

28 June 1944:
Departs Yokosuka. Arrives at Chichi-jima, Iwo Jima and Futami.

4 July 1944:
Departs Futami.

28 July 1944:
Arrives at Yokosuka.

1 July 1944:
Military classification: Oshi finger No. 407: under the command of Commander Yokosuka Shimbun.

18 July 1944:
Departs Yokosuka for Iwo Jima.

13 September 1944:
T.153 is damaged off Iwo Jima, probably by USAAF aircraft.

19 September 1944:
Off Chichi Jima, Saipan-based USAAF B-24s damage T.153.

4 August 1945:
S of Bonin Islands, NE of Ogasawara Minami. Sank in heavy weather.

10 October 1945:
Removed from the Navy List.
