Numbered T.142

29 July 1944:
Kawanami Kogyo. Laid down as a 950-ton T. 103-class landing ship tank.

20 September 1944:
Launched.

5 September 1944:
T. 142 is classified a 2nd class Yusokan.

2 November 1944:
Completed. Lt Manjiro is appointed Commanding Officer. T-142 is assigned to the Combined Fleet's First Transport Squadron, Sasebo.

14 November 1944:
T-142 departs Sasebo.

16 November 1944:
Arrives at Keelung, Formosa.

17 November 1944:
Departs Keelung.

18 November 1944:
Arrives at Takao, Formosa (Kaohsiung, Taiwnan).

22 November 1944:
Departs Takao.

23 November 1944:
Arrives at Lapok Bay.

24 November 1944:
Departs Lapok Bay and later arrives at Santa Cruz (East side of Hema Samea Island).

25 November 1944:
Departs Santa Cruz. West Luzon. 10 km off the coast of Santa Cruz. Carrier aircraft from Task Force 38 bomb and sink T-142 at 14-50N, 19-45E. Casualties unknown.

10 January 1945:
Removed from the Navy List.
