Urasaki Zosensho. Laid down Kawanami Kogyo, K. K. as Hull No. 10, a 950-ton T. 103-class landing ship tank.

Launched.

30 August 1944:
Completed. Based at Sasebo. Lt Shinsaburo Hakuzaburo is appointed Commanding Officer.

1 September 1944:
Loads fresh water and heavy oil.

4 September 1944:
Loads explosives.

5 September 1944:
Reclassified as No. 137 Transport Vessel, Grade: Second Class, Ship Type: No. 100 Type.

Loads fresh water.

At 1023, hit by an unknown weapon at 25-32N, 140-08E, but avoids serious damage. Arrives at Iwo Jima.

13 December 1944:
Departs Iwo Jima.

14 December 1944:
Arrives at Seikei Bay, Futami).

15 December 1944:
At 0820, loads 40 tons of heavy oil. At 1025, loads fresh water. At 1230, Army flight attendant 97 people aboard ship.

16 December 1944:
Departs Futami.

Arrives at Tateyama and departs.

18 March 1945:
Arrives at Hachijojima. At 1150, begins turning. At 1155, engages in anti-aircraft battle: 6 high angle cannon, machine gun 1, 191 shots fired, suffers hull damage.

19 March 1945:
At 0830, turnover to Kami-Minato. At 0935, starts unloading.

20 March 1945:
At 2140, end of shipment

21 March 1945:
12 Army flight attendants. Arrives at Hachijojima Kaminto. Arrives at Yokosuka

Anchors to the first buoyant anchor. At 1200, begins loading cargo.

6 April 1945:
At 0900, loads heavy oil.

7 April 1945:
At 1150, shipyard cargo handling completed. Loads 176 tons, embarks 20 personnel. Departs Yokosuka and arrives at Tateyama Bay. At 0905, hit by an unknown weapon. At 1025, engages in anti-aircraft battle. Arrives at Hachijojima. At 1620, cargo loading begins.

9 April 1945:
At 0230, cargo loading ends. Departs Hachijojima. Arrives at Yokosuka.

10 April 1945:
At 0900, cargo loading begins. At 1250, loads 30 tons of heavy oil.

14 April 1945:
At 1200, command flag raised.

14 April 1945:
At 1000, 154 tons of cargo loading ends. 13 passengers board ship.

27 April 1945:
Departs Yokosuka. Arrives at Tateyama Bay .

29 April 1945:
Departs Tateyama bay, but reverses course due to stormy weather and arrives back at Tateyama Bay. Departs and arrives at Hachijojima Yaejira. At 1830, cargo loading begins.

30 April 1945:
At 0200, Cargo end. Arrives at Yaejiru. Arrives at Yokosuka.

5 May 1945:
Assigned to Sasebo guard force. Dispatched to Sasebo.

6 May 1945:
Anchors at the Yokosuka Navy Plant.

15 May 1945:
Loads 65 tons of heavy oil.

16 May 1945:
Departs Yokosuka. At 1440, heads towards Sasebo.

17 May 1945:
Loads fresh water.

18 May 1945:
Loads fresh water. At 1143, 2 high-angle guns fire 168 shots, ship suffers hull damage. Arrives at Seiya.

20 May 1945:
Arrives at Yuzo.

21 May 1945:
Arrives at Ichijima. Arrives at Oki Takamatsu.

22 May 1945:
Arrives at Kure.

25 May 1945:
Departs Kure and arrives at Shimonoseki.
