BARON POLWARTH (later SHUNSEI MARU) was completed as a cargo ship in 1911 for Hugh Hogarth & Sons Ltd. (Iberia Shipping, Kelvin Shipping, Hogarth Shipping), Glasgow. SHUNSEI MARU was torpedoed and sunk in '42 by an British submarine off Pulau Perak, Malaya.
