SENKAI MARU - Class Auxiliary storeship

This class consists of SENKAI MARU only. Completed in Dec ’26 as a 2,126-tons cargo ship for Shimatani Kisen K.K. She was requisitioned by the IJN in Nov ’37 and converted to an auxiliary gunboat and requisitioned again in Feb ’42, and converted in May ’42 to an auxiliary stores ship. She was torpedoed and sunk by an American submarine in Oct ’42.
