SANKO MARU - Class Auxiliary collier/oiler


(SANKO MARU, prewar)

This class consists of SANKO MARU only, completed in May ’39 for Dairen Kisen K.K. She was requisitioned by the IJN and registered in Dec ’40 as an auxiliary collier/oiler. SANKO MARU was torpedoed and sunk in Feb ’44 by USAAF aircraft.
