PARAN MARU - Class Auxiliary Transport

PARAN MARU was completed as PALAWAN in Dec ‘27 for M.J Ossorio. She was scuttled in Dec ‘41 and subsequently refloated by the Japanese and renamed PARAN MARU. Registered in the IJN in Jan ’43 as an auxiliary transport, she was shelled and sunk by USN warship in Jan ’44.
