MIYAURA MARU was completed in 1919 as cargo ship. She was one of four of Mitsubishi's KISHUN MARU Class (1918-1919). In '23, she was sold to Kinkai Yusen K. K., Tokyo.
In '39, she was transferred to Nippon Yusen Kaisha K.K. (NYK Line), Tokyo. In '41, she was requisitioned by the IJA. In May '44, she was torpedoed and sunk by an American submarine.
