This class consists of KOWA MARU only, completed in Mar ’40 for
Sanko Kisen K.K. She was requisitioned by the IJN in Feb ’41 and first
converted to an auxiliary gunboat. In Oct ‘43 she was converted to an
auxiliary transport. She was bombed and sunk by USAAF Aircraft in Feb ’44.
