KOTO MARU Class Auxiliary Transports

(KOWA MARU similar to KOTO MARU)

This class consists of the only KOTO MARU completed in Nov ‘39 for Sanko Kisen K.K. She was requisitioned by the IJN in Jun ’41 and converted to an auxiliary transport. She was torpedoed and sunk by a US submarine in May ’44.
