KOGANE MARU Class Auxiliary Transport


(KOGANE MARU, prewar)

This class consists of KOGANE MARU only, completed in Aug ‘36 for Osaka Shosen K.K. (OSK). She was requisitioned by the IJN in Aug ’43 and converted to an auxiliary transport in Sep ‘44. She survived the war and resumed her passenger/ferry service until being broken up in ‘71.
