(KENSHO MARU, prewar)
This class consists of KENSHO MARU only, completed in Aug ’38 for
Inui Kisen K.K. She was requisitioned by the IJN in 1940 and converted to
an auxiliary transport in Oct ‘41. Under repair at Truk anchorage, she was
bombed and sunk during Operation Hailstone in Feb ‘44.
