HINOKI MARU Class - Auxiliary netlayer

This class consists of HINOKI MARU only, completed in 1939 for Uwajima Unyu K.K. She was requisitioned in Sep ‘41 by the IJN and converted to an auxiliary indicator netlayer in Oct ‘41. She was torpedoed and sunk in Sep ’44 by an American submarine about 75 nautical miles ENE Kangean Island, Netherlands Indies (now Indonesia).
