This class consists of CHOI MARU only, completed in Feb 43 for Taiko Kisen K.K. She was requisitioned by the IJN in Nov 43 as a general requisitioned transport and converted in Jan 44 to an auxiliary transport. CHOI MARU was torpedoed and sunk by an American submarine in May 44.
