BANSHU MARU No. 5- Class Auxiliary storeship

This class consists of BANSHU MARU No. 15 only, completed in 1933 for Hayashikane Shoten K.K. She was renamed BANSHU MARU No. 5 in 1939, requisitioned by the IJN in Jul 41 and converted to an auxiliary stores ship in Oct 41. She was torpedoed and sunk by an American submarine in Apr 43.
